Lisa Horton Tulip and Daffodil Card Class - August 4th, 2022

What Will We Be Making?
Learn how to use the beautiful Lisa Horton combination 3D embossing folders and dies to create lovely designs. This class will feature the tulip or daffodil designs. You can choose your favourite flower! The finished card is a slimline design measuring 8.25 x 3.75”. To create the beautiful shading, it is recommended that you use blending brushes. These are not included in the class kit however, available at Ecstasy Crafts if you need to purchase. They are available in sets or can be purchased individually. Having a medium size and smaller size would be ideal. If you already have some blending brushes or inking tools, try them out. Once you start using the
blending brushes you will want one for every colour family! See the options listed below. I have chosen to create pink tulips, however you may choose to make different colour tulips. I did use 3 different shades of pink dye inks and 2 shades of green, but you can choose dye, pigment, or oxide inks whatever, you may have. If you don’t have 2 or 3 shades, not to worry you can use a single shade and make it darker in places. I also used 3 shades of yellow for the daffodils.

- Stitched Slimline Die set (optional): CED1250 or any other slimline die you may have that can be layered on the background card if desired. (3 3/8 x7.75’)
